Become a PADI Professional at Scuba Shack, on the beautiful island of Koh Tao (No previous experience required). Our Divemaster internship packages will prepare you to work as a PADI professional anywhere in the world. No matter what level of certification you currently have, we can tailor our packages to suit your needs. Under the mentorship of our experienced instructors, you will learn what it takes to become a successful PADI Divemaster in the scuba diving industry. You will also have plenty of time to head out for fun dives and simply enjoy living on a tropical paradise in the Gulf of Thailand, as part of the Scuba Shack team.

To complete the Open Water course you need to be able to swim 200 metres and float/tread water for 10 minutes. All PADI courses require a minimum level of health and fitness and you are required to complete a medical questionnaire.
To start your Divemaster training you need to be 18 years old and have a Medical Statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months (you can get a medical on Koh Tao).
Our 3 month Divemaster internship package includes everything you would need from the Open Water Diver course right up to the professional level of PADI Divemaster and everything in between. We also include 3 specialties. If you are already certified contact us and we can adjust the package to suit your needs. What’s included:
Please note that this does not include the Divemaster application fee which you pay directly to PADI. It is currently AUD$ 231. This is paid when you submit your Divemaster application at the end of your internship.
A complete set of dive equipment (except dive computer) is also included, although we would advise purchasing some of your own, particularly if you’re aiming for a career in scuba diving. We can offer a 20% discount on all scuba gear from any of the suppliers on Koh Tao. You will also get your own Scuba Shack t-shirt and log book.
Accommodation is not included, but we can assist you in finding the perfect place for your stay on Koh Tao. Monthly bungalow rental prices range from between 5000 – 12000 Baht per month. Contact Us for more information on accommodation.
